![]() The mobility is excellent as long as you avoid mud or water, and the survivability is no-armor-best-armor vs. The main issue with the rooikats I've found, which you didn't mention, is the abysmal gun elevation speed which gets me killed way too often when driving over hills or terrain. ![]() If you have trouble with post-pen using 105 mm DM23, learn to aim better - it's not APHE. Yes, a couple premium tanks get DM33 at 8.7, but DM23 is more reliable than 105 mm M735 on American tanks due to it's better slope performance and leagues more reliable than 76 mm APFSDS on the Rooikat mk1 which has hilariously anemic damage at times. It's literally the same round as on the TAM, Leo A1A1, M48G, Centauro 105, OF-40 Mk2A, WMA 301, ZTZ59D1, 105 mm Merkavas, sho't kal dalet, strv 104 and probably a few other vehicles. It has just enough pen for everything except Soviets in a full uptier (aim for driver hatch or LFP) and excellent slope performance for high angled sideshots. The 105 mm DM23 on the Rooikat 105 is practically the standard for a dart at 8.7. TL:DR : Emotional rollercoaster of a vehicle, Sometimes you will rip down a flank and wipe out half the enemy team, Other times you will spend 5 minute's trying to climb a gentle hill only get blown up by an A4E or G91 or some shit. The amount of times i have died to artillery in this thing is disgusting. ![]() The surviveability makes me want to blow my brains out. Scouting + The ability to zoom to caps make it a nice grinder Often i will watch APFSDS fly through peoples arm pits and between their legs without so much as hurting them. The Post pen damage seems incredibly wonky at times. Thermals and Laser RF are very nice at this BR Sometimes you can rip around on mud and sand at high speed, Othertimes, You slog down to 10-20km on paved road? (For example, In the southern town on Port Novorosisksiriskssy or however that shithole is spelt, The road is like fucking glue for some reason) I think i've got like 200RB battles in it now, And my take aways from it are : I have a bit of a love / hate relationship with it.
